So I have the latest model, have been doing the sessions every 2 weeks for I think 8 week. So more then they suggest. All ok, big reduction to hair and it was growing back slowly. All good. Then the other week I suddenly felt hairy again! It’s nearly all grown back! So 2 weeks ago did a session and have done another one today.

What is your general touch up regime? Surely I don’t have to do this every 2 weeks forever?!

I'm not a veteran but I've completed the initial 4 sessions every 2 weeks and now have waited 4 weeks (as the instructions state) and I've had very little hair growth on my legs, arms and bikini like (more regrowth on my underarms). I read somewhere that doing it too frequently and don't following the instructions it can stimulate hair growth but not sure if that's true or not as it was on a message board???

Ouchmyheadhurts · 08/08/2019 16:26

If never done it before the 2 weeks. I think it is if you do it too often it won’t make any difference as apposed to doing any ‘harm’ to the process.

Philips say that you need to do eight (consecutive) fortnight treatments for six months of being hair free. The hair should get significantly weaker and wispier over time.

Ouchmyheadhurts · 08/08/2019 20:07

Yeah so I did that but was only 75% hair free and only for maybe 6-8 weeks? Does that mean it just isn’t going to work for me? Or that I should keep doing it more than 6 months??

Keep going if its worked even temporarily, it should work over time - you might just have thicker and more resisitant hair and stronger hair growth.

Yeah to be fair I’m on the way to be a yeti!

So how often? Go back to every 2 weeks?

I wonder if being slightly tanned isn’t helping. Better to do it in the winter.

Ouchmyheadhurts · 09/08/2019 08:37

I’m not remotely tanned, my legs are almost blue they are so pale Grin

Ok that makes sense. So should I go back to two weekly?
