Holy grail of no-show knickers....

swanningpond · 08/08/2019 08:06

Other than Spanx, what are the best no-show knickers?

I like them to come up to under waist or very low on the hips.

I have tried ms high/waisted no vpl and you can clearly see them. I have a (ahem) long bottom and not terribly unfirm but does wobble.....

Are shorts the answer?

I saw some yesterday but they were £14 a pair!

Can you get Victorias Secret Pink range in the UK?

(I am not in the UK so not sure)

I bought loads while in the US and they so comfy and no vpl at all. I have the low rise, high rise and boy leg styles.

I am usually a small but got these in medium as they are quite small sized if you do consider buying any online.

I'll have a look there but I suspect they'll be for the younger generation (I'm 40's)

I wear the Sainsbury's no vpl ones and have done for years, I have them in every colour. I buy them a size or two bigger than I am and I never have to worry about VPL...

Pants have no age @swanningpond just try them. My dds swear by them.

paap1975 · 09/08/2019 08:32

Chantelle do an invisible range (several shapes). They are by far the most comfortable I have ever owned

Simonfromharlow · 09/08/2019 08:35

Primark do really good ones

fedup21 · 09/08/2019 08:35

Similar to a PP-I get mine from Tu, though buy the shorts as they don’t come up quite so high.

I find the best ones are these sloggi ones and yes they are ££

amazon sloggi

But saying that any in that style would be good - I also noticed these ones came up also amazon other ones

cheesenpickles · 09/08/2019 08:38

I watched a YouTube video the other day and the women swore by lace thongs. Though not sure how comfy they are if you're not used to wearing them.

NigellasGuest · 09/08/2019 08:54

I swear by ones I get in tesco, so much so that when my clubcard vouchers come through I tend to use them to stock up on these knickers. They are flesh coloured, quite a thin, fine texture especially around the edges. Go and find them. They are comfortable and a normal size and show under NOTHING.

EatenByDinosaurs · 09/08/2019 13:05

Yup, I second lace thongs. So comfortable (once you get used to them) and absolutely no VPL. I usually buy red ones as I wear a lot of white and red undies are invisible under white.
Plus I'm not fond of flesh coloured anything, I like having pretty and luxurious underpants, cheers me up every time I put them on Grin

Wonkybanana · 09/08/2019 15:17

I use cotton thongs. Not the lacy ones, or the nylon cheese slicers, but the fairly sturdy ones if that doesn't sound like a contradiction in terms!!

Matalan, Primark, M&S, Sainsbury's (and others) all do them.

StarlightLady · 09/08/2019 19:05

Another vote for lace thongs. They must be stretch lace though and buy one size up from what you would normally buy.

And knickers are ageless. I’m in my 40s.

Of course in the summer the best knickers are no knickers!!!!

Blankspace4 · 09/08/2019 19:08

Another vote for Victoria’s Secret here. They are available in the UK - there are a few stores and online. I’ll try and find a link to the ‘invisible’ ones I’m referring to.......

I find M&S knicker sizing really really small! I think I’d have to go two sizes up for their ‘no lines’ knickers otherwise the bulges, dear god, the bulges 🙈

Bert2e · 09/08/2019 19:10

Go up at least one size and voila most pants look better - they don't cut into your cheeks or legs so show far less.

Blankspace4 · 09/08/2019 19:10

I hope that works! It’s the seamless / no show range. Really nice, and they don’t dig in at all. I’m a size 12/14 btw and wear a large.

ItsJustTheOneSwanActually · 09/08/2019 20:25

yep lace thongs, one size up with wide-ish sides lots of stretch

SolitudeAtAltitude · 09/08/2019 20:55

The sloggi ones with cotton last a thousand washes, so cheap per wear

expatinspain · 09/08/2019 20:57

Thongs are the only knickers I've ever worn that have no vpl. You might need to go a size up as they can cut in at the sides unless you are very lean.
