I have had a run of rubbish concealers and really want to find a good reliable affordable one that i can rely on. Any suggestions for one that matches this description?

Well, a bit more pricey than you want but Nars Matte concealer in a little pot is absolutely fantastic.

I have also given up on concealer too. I think they just make my undereye area look 100 times worse.

What I am trying now which the Clarins lady suggested (and I see EL have brought out a products for this), is after I have put on my foundation, pat on a bit of eye cream again under the eye, the pat on more of the same foundation again.

I think it looks way better as for some reason concealer seems too drying on my under eye area.

Nars creamy concealer

Georgio Armani precision concealer or Charlotte tilbury magic away

I love concealer and my favourites are from Maybelline, the under eye one with the sponge tip applicator and the fit me one with the doe foot applicator are great.

Collection 2000 is a classic for good reason.

Dab on, use concealer brush to blend

Aldi Nars dupe is amazing! Never used Nars but this is so good for under eye dark circles, I bought five. was one of those specials so don’t think they have any left at the mo.

Make up revolution conceal and define is a brilliant shape tape dupe and only £4!!!

I think it depends what you want it for, I wouldn't use the same concealer for blemishes as I would under my eye for example.

Nars creamy concealer and collection Lasting perfection are great for blemish concealing but I think too thick and drying for large patches of skin or under eyes. They both highlight any dryness (on me) - solid budget options though as is the aldi dupe of Nars and the revolution conceal and define.

Under eyes, bobbi brown serum concealer is good, maybelline eye eraser (with the foamy pad), too faced born this way for higher coverage.

I recently got the no.7 hydralumious under eye correction pen and it's quite nice if you like a natural and moisturising under eye makeup. It corrects pigmentation but won't hide eye bags really. I have been using it as a base as it feels nice and hydrating and then concealing a bit over the top of I feel like it.

Bobbi Brown, but the colour corrector, not the concealer (which I find too thick).
