What would your vote be for. I've used clinique for too many years and i am not sure its even that great!

Guerlain Cils D'Enfer mascara, I've come to the conclusion is the best one by miles, I liked the new Hourglass one initially but the next one I bought was very claggy as well as being a nightmare to remove.
I went back to Guerlain and really wondered why I'd tried other ones as it is such good quality mascara which is easy to remove too.

Loriel in the red and white tube

DeRigueurMortis · 07/08/2019 22:02

Hourglass Caution Mascara.

Love it.

Doesn't clump, smudge or flake.

Gives volume and length.

I now live in fear of it being discontinued (so have bought 3 wands as stock).

redcaryellowcar · 07/08/2019 22:03

Max factor 1000 calorie mascara, I prefer non waterproof one, but I have sensitive eyes so it seems gentler.

opinionminion · 07/08/2019 22:07

Bobbi Brown Smokey Eye

Fruityb · 07/08/2019 22:16

The Primark one in the gold tube is the one I used daily. It’s £2.50, lasts all day and is as good as premium ones.

I use bad gal bang when I want biggies but I can’t justify a £20 mascara for daily use.

Igetknockeddownbutgetupagain · 07/08/2019 22:44

Another vote for Maybelline Lash Sensation.
I had a black tube, finished it, tried Benefit Rollerlash, and then went back to Maybelline again. I wouldn’t change now.

cad186 · 07/08/2019 23:17

Max factor false lash effect or Lancome volume a porter

MoreSlidingDoors · 07/08/2019 23:20

Lancôme, L’Oreal and Maybelline are all Nestle companies. Just in case anyone boycotts Nestle (and if you don’t, you probably should).

DefinatelyAWeeGobshite · 07/08/2019 23:22

Bobbi Brown smoky eye
Hourglass caution
Benefit they’re real
Any Maybelline but I especially love the rocket and the falsies
Loreal telescopic
Max Factor false lash effect
Clinique high impact

I love mascara!!

LoafofSellotape · 07/08/2019 23:26

Has anyone tried Maybelline snapscara?

I binned it, rubbish sadly.

Maybelline Collosal in the yellow tube with purple writing is fantastic- stays put but comes off with warm water.

Judystilldreamsofhorses · 07/08/2019 23:43

MAC False Lash waterproof. I am a smudger. I have tried quite a few of the mascaras mentioned on this thread - I gave the Hourglass one away because it was so clunky, and the Guerlain one I really liked, but found it made my eyes water.

Zenithbear · 07/08/2019 23:49

Another one for Collection 2000. Brilliant and a bargain

Mumsymumphy · 08/08/2019 00:04

Another vote for max factor 2000. And it's one of the few ones that do browny black which seems to be a disappearing colour choice?

Minnie747 · 08/08/2019 00:08

Rollerlash!!

drillbittaylor · 08/08/2019 00:11

.

Deathraystare · 08/08/2019 07:33

I've got the Maybelline purple one on at the moment -falsies waterproof but also like Boots no7 waterproof volume mascara. I am not so fussed at having great spider leg lashes as I wear glasses.

I do like Benefit roll on but it is not waterproof sadly. I have streaming eyes so it must be waterproof. I have also like a Wilco one. Another person that doesn't see the point of paying £££ for mascara as they don't last long and you should buy a new one regularly.

Schoeny · 08/08/2019 07:36

Maybelline and Lancôme are among the many brands owned by L'Oreal, but I don't think there is any connection between L'Oreal and Nestle.

rodentforce · 08/08/2019 07:57

FYI (since Maybelline is doing well on this thread!) while I like the Lash Sensational (except for the horrid silicone wand), I recently bought Total Temptation, because I couldn't get hold of my usual cheapie Collection one. Total Temptation is ... meh. Not terrible, but a bit disappointing. Feels quite cheap, smudges relatively easily too.

There is.

Best mascara ever?
MoreSlidingDoors · 08/08/2019 08:01

They hold about 25% of the shares in L’Oreal according to their own website.

rodentforce · 08/08/2019 08:02

@moreslidingdoors I have been boycotting Nestlé for years but didn't know about this. Thanks - no more Maybelline for me.

SpuriouserAndSpuriouser · 08/08/2019 08:06

Another vote for hourglass caution extreme. Excellent stuff, and it doesn’t smudge

isthismylifenow · 08/08/2019 08:22

I have the Maybelline Snapscara and I really like it.

I was just a bit freaked out the first time I used it and i though i could see my eyelashes floating in the sink of water....

ooooohbetty · 08/08/2019 08:31

Any of the Lancôme mascaras. I've used hundreds of mascaras over the years. I use cheaper ones for work but they don't match up. The Lancôme mascaras are worth the extra money.
