Whatever style or size of bra (tried hundreds) my breadts just seem to sit at the bottom of the cup and there is space at the top. Any ideas other than surgery?

A different cup size..... try a bigger rib measurement and smaller cup. Play around with different brands

I have the same problem, for me the answer is a properly fitted bra with a side sling style. Currently the Freya Soiree high apex bra.

Have a look at noon or bust. They tell you how to measure correctly, and have graphics and help on finding a style to suit your breasts. Going up in the band if you can do it up is usually a bad move - if you know ) think you're in the correct size, try a different style. Bottom-heavy boobs often don't suit a full cup or moulded cup. Have you tried balconette or plunge?

Autocorrect fail! Boob or Bust.

CrazyCatLady159 · 07/08/2019 16:54

Boob or Bust.

Re-measure yourself using their calculator and then have a look at the pictures to find your shape of boobs - they can they tell you suitable bras for you.

I thought I had this problem - turns out I was wearing completely the wrong size bra! Grin

i've got puddle boobs. agree that getting a proper fitting helps but they are still at the end of the day puddle boobs.

cannaethink · 07/08/2019 18:42

Sounds like my boobs! At the moment the panache cleo koko plunge bras are fitting me well. I can pretty much only wear plunge bras, everything else is empty at the top.
Also these bras are ok...

I’ve done boob or bust and find Debenhams do a similar measurement. The last lady said I got into my bras wrong (who knew there was a ‘right’ way!), when you put them on you should scoop your boob up from underneath and let it sit, then it goes in right!

Handbaghag · 07/08/2019 22:13

Marks and Spencer were very disparaging about my boobs. Bravissimo made me and made them look fantastic! Can well recommend! I defo need a particular style from them. I like Panache Clara, but please visit them. I have found M and S just don't sell a shape that does the same thing. They measured me at 34DD, bravissimo measure me at 32F. There's a big difference in what that looks like.

MorrisZapp · 07/08/2019 22:21

I love the fantasie ones with side support, you get get them in beautiful styles on ebay for about twenty quid.

Also I put the bra on then lean right over forwards, to get all the boob safely inside the bra.

I lost weight recently and while I'm delighted to be in a smaller size, I must admit the tennis ball in a sock look isn't lovely. Thank goodness for well made lingerie.

KatharinaRosalie · 08/08/2019 07:03

I would recommend a padded half cup style.

Readytogogogo · 08/08/2019 07:08

Completely agree with the above advice - measured myself on boob or bust and was a completely different size than I thought! I now have a few well fitting bras.

JMAngel1 · 08/08/2019 07:38

I have this and balconette style looks the best preferably with a demi cup. They push your fullest part upwards to give lift and density at your neckline of your clothes which is super flattering.

Spam88 · 08/08/2019 07:39

Boob or Bust have a graphic which shows what shape bras you should wear depending on which way your nipples point when you lean over, which is determined by which part of your boobs is the fullest.

RezCowgirl · 08/08/2019 09:24

Balconette style. I have HH cups which are like oranges in a sock. The Panache Cleo range are good for this. Padded cups leave a massive gap at the top.
