Help me style my hair?! Hair wax???

Hi everyone,

I'm hoping someone can help me find something to style my hair please?

I've just had it cut short but I can't get it to go like the hairdresser styled it Sad She sprayed some product in when she did it and I stupidly didn't ask what it was. It may have been wax or something?

Is there something I can pick up in Boots or a supermarket that I can spray and kind of mess it up or is it best to use a salon one? Ideally non sticky.

Thanks so much in advance

Wax is solid and melted between the hands, it could have been a volumiser/salt spray?

Best thing is to go back for a wash and blow dry and tell them you need help styling it. It'll also take time to get used to handling your shorter hair.

Good luck!

Shame only 1 reply! I'm the same. Recently had the crop and been taking advice from DH..

Can recommend Brylcreem gel. Not actual brylcreem which is just greasy mess!

I have tried salt spray which I think is what the hairdresser used but it just goes greasy and dull.

It's frustrating, short hair is easier in a lot of ways but getting it to look really good is harder than long hair.

I use the salon ones as I'm not sure what else would work. Might it have been a spray gel? Or a defining spray shine DFINE

I would pop in and ask at the salon. Believe me they will be happy to help if you look like you will buy something!

Was it a spray wax?
Agree with NotMe if you ask in the salon they’ll be happy to sell to you
