Shampoo for highlighted hair

I've always used Redken Blonde Idol shampoo for platinum highlighted hair but unfortunately they've stopped making it and I've finally used the dregs of what I had left. It took away the brassy/yellow tones without having to resort to 'purple' shampoo as this always sends my hair very dull with a lilac tinge, even if washed straight off and having tried several brands. Does anyone have any recommendations please? Pureologys Perfect 4 Platinum was a close second but that's been discontinued as well Hmm

I've used Touch of Silver purple shampoo but found it quite drying.
Moved to L'Oreal Professional's version (from Look Fantastic I think) and found that much better.
Just leave it for 3-4 mins, I think if your hair has a lilac tinge you've left it on too long.
Also do deep conditioners a couple of times a week.

Just noted you said 'washed right off' - not too sure then, maybe use it just a smaller amount.
