Hair fascinator with this dress?

I’ve got a wedding to go to and bought a nice dress to go in from debut in Debenhams. Would a fascinator look nice with it? I’m 28 so a youngish looking one, if that makes sense?. I’ll have my hair curled 1950s waves ( my hair is long) I’ll wear black high heels and a black Chanel bag to go with it. Would that look nice?

Don't wear one.They don't actually look good on anyone. It's just blind trends following.
Use a sparkly hair clip or hair band.

A massive amazing hat on the other hand...

The small hats like the Duchess of Cambridge wears are the best compromise. My DD, who is a similar age to you, wears these to Ascot and they look stunning if you get one topped with sculptural detail. Look at Hostie Hats for inspiration. You could also look for the wide brimmed Audrey Hepburn style hat. Never goes out of fashion!

Fascinators are the height of frumpiness. Don't bother with one, just have your hair done nicely. :)

lol...I am going to a wedding too next week...as mother of the bride (eek) and don't know whether to wear a fascinator or not...I was going to but am put off now!" (not actually bought one yet"!) Similar style dress but in navy jacquard with gold flowers...not even sure I like the dress any more...…
