Looking for comfy flat sandals

Adollop · 03/08/2019 22:48

I wear mainly dresses or above knee length skirts in this weather and I'm looking for some flat sandals. Any suggestions? I wear mainly blue and black skirts or dresses. I don't want to spend too much, but can also look on eBay if necessary.

How tall are you and what size feet. Do you like ompletely flat or a bit of heel. I'll have a look. What's the budget.

Feelingpoorlysick · 03/08/2019 23:05

I'm 5 foot 7 and size 6 feet. If I can spend under £40 I'd be happy Grin

Fitflop have got an amazing sale on atm. Really good quality, comfy sandals and extra % off too!

mantlepiece · 03/08/2019 23:36

I second fitflop. They do a wide range of styles.

They are expensive full price but as said the sale is on at the moment, I got a great pair for less than £30 last week. Very comfortable and I think mine are stylish for me.

bodgeitandscarper · 03/08/2019 23:37

I got two pairs of sandals in Clarks sale, both pairs are so comfy I don't want to take them off! Both have a slight heel, but are as comfy as flats and were in your price range.

WellTidy · 03/08/2019 23:40

Moshulu Wasabi are down to £39 in their sale. Super comfy, flat and look fine with dresses and trousers. I buy a few pairs every summer as I walk so much in them.

Gentlemanwiththistledownhair · 03/08/2019 23:40

Also came on to say the seasalt ones. The padded but at the bottom is fab and mine were comfy from the first wear. Good value too!

Peoniesandcats · 03/08/2019 23:50

Found some in the Timberland sale so worth looking there. Really comfy!

Adollop · 03/08/2019 23:52

The Seasalt and the Wasabi ones are nice, which have the best support?

223555955550 I think these are good for value copy this link in eBay and paste it as the seller has cheap items you may like.

Adollop · 04/08/2019 00:18

They are cheap, but unsure they'd be comfy? I need a bit of support, or I suffer with planter fasciitis (sp?)

OP posts:
Ninkaninus · 04/08/2019 00:35

Fitflop are great for plantar fasciitis - I had it for years (chronic and very severe) and I wore Fitflop shoes almost exclusively during that time.

WellTidy · 04/08/2019 11:49

I haven’t tried any of the fitflops but the wasabi are padded underneath and have decent support as they have so many straps and are adjustable with the buckle. They won’t be as supportive as walking sandals but they are great for me. I really struggle with shoes due to awful bunions and needing some padding underfoot (saltwater sandals are incredibly flat and hard, I find).

M and s footglove are also decent but probably v low stock now that we are in August.

Nanasueathome · 04/08/2019 11:56

Wow. Just looked at those Seasalt ones. They are £14 now

yellowsun · 04/08/2019 12:03

I have the wasabi ones and love them. So glad I found them as I have size 9 feet and limited options!

Adollop · 04/08/2019 12:07

I think I'll buy the Wasabi ones then, just been searching for a money off code.

OP posts:
EttyG · 04/08/2019 12:12

Are the Wasabi ones any good for wide fit?

ChristineBaskets · 04/08/2019 12:35

I really like my Hotter Tourists. I have them in coral, they are on sale at the moment.

yellowsun · 04/08/2019 13:16

I had to get a wide in some ASOS sandals recently but am not generally. My toe bit is quite wide. They are leather do do give a bit.

EarlyBird39 · 04/08/2019 13:20

I swear by Strive!!! I've bought this one recently and can't stop wearing it! Sooooooo comfortable

WellTidy · 05/08/2019 13:35

Wasabi are wide, yes. I have bunions, so I have to have wide fit shoes but with a buckle on the ankle to keep them on (as my foot is only wide where the bunions are).
