What trainers do men wear. Fashion trainers not for sports. What's fashionable? I have to clue

What kind of budget are you looking at?
My partner and teenage sons are trainer mad so will ask them for recommendations

My son, who I would consider has his finger on the pulse of what is fashionable, wears sports trainers as fashion trainers. He is currently modelling a pair of Nike running shoes in soft teal at a music festival. Vans are too ubiquitous, Nike a bit passé (current shoes an exception), Adidas are in. These shoes cost £100-140. He has all white Adidas (wants to get them well worn in), all white Reebok, several coloured suede Adidas, and another lightweight running shoe in some colour. Converse are ok if slightly beaten up looking.

Ok. So I'm looking for my DH so son's trainers are probably too trendy for him! Let's say up to £100. Weekend trainers, not for sports

He's mid 40s, btw

I think it's hard to say without knowing your DH's style. What kind of things does he wear/what's he into for example.

My DP wears mainly Nike SB, DC and Etnies, it suits his style and I love them on him (see pics) but it might not be your DH's style. DP is 38 by the way.

Also, try and look on ebay. I always get my trainers off there (if I know the size!) and usually get them for half the in store cost. There are sales at the moment.

Balenciaga style trainers are in, but they’re loud. You can tell a cheap pair though (think asos own make). Nike 95 and 97 are cool, although 97 on the way out. Adidas 80s are comfy and somewhat more reasonable.

My DH (late 30s) has been wearing Merrill leather trainers for the past few years. Casual and comfy but also can be dressed up to look smart. He's not exactly at the cutting edge of fashion, mind!

Dune ones Are nice if you’re looking for something that can be dressed up a bit. Or new balance for more casual maybe.

I came on here yesterday to thank everyone for the comments, but MN was down and I didn't get a chance later on. So thanks for the comments. Adidas and Dune are his style, so I'll look at those. The Nike ones might be a bit trendy for him. I'm going to look through all of the suggestions though. Thanks
