Easy liquid eyeliner

I love the pen and nib shape of the Benefit push up eyeliner, but I find that the consistency of the ink goes dusty and grainy really fast - days after buying, and then the line is clumpy and uneven. Is there anything else out there that has a great applicator but 'wet' enough to slide on my 40-something eyelids smoothly?

O love my rimmel liquid eyeliner with the brush, not the pen nib. I've used it for about 20 years now. It's fabulous.

I used to love brushes too but now my eyelids are a bit more crumpled, they aren't as forgiving. Sigh.

I don't really get on with the pens myself, but the M&S Autograph one is surprisingly OK, you might like that. It's 'wetter' than others I've used so goes on more smoothly.

If anyone has a recommendation for a dark brown liquid liner with a brush and some staying power though I'd be most grateful - currently on Bourjois and it goes on brilliantly but doesn't last the day sadly. I find brown more forgiving for daytime these days but it's so hard to find a decent one! (Hope you don't mind my asking on your thread, @custardlover)

Not at all - thanks for the rec re the Autograph pen - I'll give it a try

24/7 or razor sharp (can't remember what it's called) urban decay, its a brush but it goes on so easily and doesn't come off :)

I like the loreal tattoo liner pens, I find they go on well and last well. I've also used the kat Von d pens which are good but loreal are cheaper and same quality. I agree that the texture of the benefit one is rubbish.

Bobbi brown gel liner? I’ve not used it myself yet but I’ve heard good things about it.

YSL easy liner. It's so easy to use and doesn't budge

Try the mabelline pen www.boots.com/maybelline/maybelline-eyes/maybelline-master-precise-liquid-eyeliner-10133208 it was recommended on here and it's fab. Better than my nars ones and so easy to use.

Another vote for the Rimmel one with a brush. It stays put.
