I'm stuck in a style rut. I don't think I ever outgrew my teenage uniform of jeans, trainers, t shirts and hoodies but I'm feeling a bit rubbish about it now. I'm on the larger side (size 16 at 5'4") and feel as though I've been waiting to lose weight before buying nice clothes for my whole life.

So now I've realised I've got to say screw it, I'm buying nice things regardless of my size Grin but I don't know where to start! I want to wear things that are fun and make me feel pretty.

Any advice wise ladies of Mumsnet?? How can I find my style?

I know some people on here are sniffy about it but Boden dresses are very flattering and good quality too. They go up to a size 18 and are generously cut too.

They're easy to wear as many have sleeves...and aren't cut low etc. Have a look there...great options in all seasons. You can still wear trainers...if you prefer because some look lovely with dresses. Or get some nice sandals. In wintertime, boots and tights...lovely and easy!
