My budget no longer stretches to Moroccan oil so I'm wondering what's a good cheap alternative?
I've seen Argan oil fir £1, is this any good??

I like L’Oreal Extraordinary oil. It does have silicone in though.

I like the Dove one (think it's for mature hair). Have no idea what's in it, just like it...

After a long period of trial and mostly error, I just found most of the 'oils' that are really just mostly silicone just made my hair a bit flat or lacking in texture - the tesco one, extraordinary oil, moroccanoil frizz ease etc basically all almost exactly the same to me with different smells. I have all of them in my drawer and they last forever! I dislike that they are going on top of the hair rather than sinking in and although they do cull frizz, I just don't like the feel or the appearance really, even used sparingly.

I tend to just use a silicone free hair treatment in the shower instead on the ends only, and use a shine spray (the misting kind) to brush through after/during styling. Keeps everything frizz free but is light enough it doesn't affect volume or texture and you get a more even distribution.

My hair isn't drastically dry or coloured though, so maybe that's why - I'm just looking to have it look shinier, healthier, no frizz but still bouncy.

Would castor oil be any good?

I used to use Moroccan oil, now switched to the L'Oréal one. Not just as good but good enough for the price compared to Moroccan oil!
