Cos Stores sizing

I'm looking to buy few tops from Cos but I'm hesitant about their sizing as have never bought anything from there before.

I'm size 12 (leaning on size 14). Does Cos come big, small or true to size?

I wear medium in the s/m/l sizing, and a 12 in their normal sizing. (12-14 usually)

It really depends on the style of the item, you really need to try them on.
I’m a 16 and have bought different sizes depending on the cut.

@ilovecherries, sounds like you're similar size to me. I'm usually M but on odd occasion have to size either up - and down too.

I'm mainly looking at some boxy cut vest tops, some are sized S,M,L but one is sized in the European sizing. I'd be in between 38-40, difficult to decide which one might fit better.

Love their stuff! I am bigger than you and find the L does well for me so suggest you stick with M.

Definitely an M, @Igavebirthtoabanana, and you should be a 38 or 40, probably the former. But COS returns are free and I think they still refund the original postage when you return something.

Hope you like them! Have to say things I buy from Cos are the items I wear which are most often complimented, by both men and women.

I am a 12-14 and a size 40 fits well when their clothes have European sizing - so fairly reliable. For sizes XS ,S etc I have clothes ranging from XS to L and they all fit!

I’m a 10/12 and nearly always size up to a 38. They are very narrow in the shoulders/boobs.

I find their sizing consistently big, by at least a size. I am 5’ 4” though.

Sizing slightly big expect in the chest....

I received my order today and all of them have to be returned

Jeans, relaxed fit size 31 - bit too big (and frumpy on me)

White cotton/linen wide leg trousers size 40 - sizing good on these but I did look like a clown. All I needed was a squirty flower for my lapel (the trousers seemed way more voluminous than they did on-line)

Black skinny legging style trousers size 40 - these were lovely and flattering but too tight around my waist. Will order one size bigger and hope for the best.

3 x boxy type of vests, all size M and all slightly too big.

Nothing seems to fit me properly these days. Except Next but I don't want to become the Woman of Next. Really fed up of re-packing it all and making yet another trip to the PO
