Next items never received now showing as ‘returns’

I ordered some stuff from Next a couple of days ago and have not received it. I’ve now got an email saying ‘thanks for your returns’ and a refund!

Really annoyed as one of the items is now out of stock.

Is this normal? Has it happened to anyone else?

I had this with a jumper at Christmas time. When I spoke to them they said it was their error (dispatched & looped straight back to returns)
Very annoying but it was still in stock thankfully so I eventually got it.

I reordered the stuff they still had in stock but will also get in touch with them to flag it and see if they’ll send me the item now out of stock back!

Did you ring them directly?

Yes I rang them direct - they were very apologetic about it & seemed to know of it was an issue that happens (worryingly!)
