Where to buy knee-high boots with elasticated top?!

This may sound like an odd thing to be looking for, but they are the only type of knee-high boots that don’t look ridiculous on me, as rigid knee-high boots are always too wide around the calves and look like wellies on me. Attached is a photo of a pair of boots I have that are elasticated at the top. They’re great, and I’d love to find a pair in dark taupe. I’ve been googling but not had any luck. Does anyone happen to have any idea where I could find any?!

How big is your budget?! The gold standard in not falling down boots are Stuart Weitzman (available in Russel and Bromley) but they don’t come cheap!

Thank you, I’d not heard of those - just had a look and they look great! Also massively reduced at the moment, but unfortunately sold out in my size! Full price - at about £450 - they’d be beyond my budget!

Have a look at Duo www.duoboots.com/collections/narrow-calf-boots- they're also not cheap but their boots come in many different widths, so you should be able to find some that fit around the calves?

Thank you so much! The above look beautiful. If anyone knows where to find similar in faux suede (which would be cheaper!), that would be amazing!

They're a staple in M+S every year. They'll be coming in soon. Though you might not get the colours you want. But they seem to be embracing 70s colours this year so you may get lucky.

They also always do half-and-half boots which are rigid suede at the front and elastic at the back. Those are fantastic.

There are some M&S ones (not half and half) with a review saying they only fit very big calves - hope they’re not all like that!

Good thought! Boden has them, though currently not in dark taupe. I’ll keep on eye out though as autumn approaches!
