Recommendations for Jumpsuits for tall lady

Pretty much the headline.
I'm 5'10 and love jumpsuits for formal occasions but I struggle to find ones that basically don't give me a gigantic camel toe or cut offs above the ankle.

Got a few weddings to attend this summer so on the lookout for a new one or two.

Have tried the usual tall sections of New Look, DP and ASOS?

I feel your pain with the camel toe, it’s the same with trousers for me.

BrillyPribble · 30/07/2019 22:16

I'm the same height and have a few jumpsuits. Mine are from phase eight and next (tall) mostly.

FatAndFurious7 · 30/07/2019 22:20

I get a lot from Asos tall range but sometimes it can be a bit hit and miss, especially if I'm trying to grab a bargain.

Trying to be grown up and decided I don't mind spending a little more and getting some good quality ones on recommendation

I’m 5’11 and find many of the tall line pretty short. Long Tall Sally tends to always be very long, though.

FatAndFurious7 · 30/07/2019 22:25

JoJo - same, sometimes I think retailers think tall means just long arms and legs but I've got quite a tall body so dresses are generally really short, or the camel toe issue ..

I'm 5'9" and the jumpsuit I got from the Next Tall range was too long and I needed the legs taking up a wee bit. Maybe worth having a look there?

FatAndFurious7 · 30/07/2019 22:35

Thanks Sadie - will def have a look!

I'm 5' 9" and usually find COS jumpsuits fit like a dream (I would wear this sleeveless one to a wedding). ASOS tall is good for style but quality can be so-so. Also recently bought a fabulous jersey jumpsuit from Arket (this one, in fact) as recommended by someone on here (thank you, whoever that was!). Not very wedding-y though. Have you tried & Other Stories? this floral one looks like it might have room in the camel-toe area. Generally the Scandi brands are quite good for tall people I think.

keepmoving · 30/07/2019 22:45

Hi I've bought 2 jumpsuits from H&M that got really well! Think Scandinavian brands tend to be longer...

Just went up a size

FatAndFurious7 · 30/07/2019 22:54

Zinnia and keepmoving thank you both so much. Enjoying stacking up my tabs with all these links!

With the Scandi brands like Cos, Arket or H&M, they are longer for larger sizes (you can see when you look at the Chinese size that gives you the height). That works if you’re tall and, say, size 14 but if you’re model-like size 8, they’ll be way too short.

schnubbins · 30/07/2019 23:03

I got a lovely one from Michael Kors a few years ago which fits perfectly.Im also 5ft 10 with a long body so understand what you are taking about .It is so difficult to find anything that does not look like a straight jacket.

FatAndFurious7 · 30/07/2019 23:53

JoJo - ahh good tip. I'm usually size 10 in dresses/jumpsuits so I'll have to have a closer look at the sizing info

OP posts:
FatAndFurious7 · 30/07/2019 23:54

Thanks schnubbins, yeah the long body thing is weird - even with jackets and shirts they end up being cropped style

I found this one in Hobbs that is plenty long enough for me- long bodied 6’ size 12. I find Hobbs good for body length, though sleeve length can be a bit lacking. They have a few other jumpsuits, too.

Lumene · 31/07/2019 09:56

Long Tall Sally have some that have plenty of room for tall bodies. Quite expensive and v hit and miss in styles though.

Lumene · 31/07/2019 09:59

Next have some tall jumpsuits. This was plenty long enough for a 6fter:

CMOTDibbler · 31/07/2019 10:03

I have a Next tall one, and the body length is great - I had to have several inches off the leg, which is the perfect way round!

Baxdream · 31/07/2019 10:11

Rather than a jumpsuit what about this? I tried the navy trousers and they were gorgeous but very long! I'd say long length will work at your height.
I think this is stunning

I have this problem! Really want a jumpsuit for a wedding but I'm 6ft and it's a nightmare!
Have you tried Reiss? They're all really long (trailed on the floor for me!) got some nice ones in the sale too.
