Princess Leia outfit for biggies!

Wasn't sure whether to post this one here but how can I make a princess Leia costume work on a curvy size 14 16. I want to wear the whole shebang but not sure how I can carry it off! It has to be the actual film one which leaves so little to the imagination.

I wouldn't say a size 14-16 was a "biggie"! Just get the costume in the right size. If you don't feel comfortable in the slave-of-Jabba outfit (which is what I assume you are referring to), then choose one of the many other costumes which aren't as revealing.

Assuming you want the bikini style one, all you can do is buy the costume in the right size surely? If you're worried about your body then as pp said, wear one of other outfits she wears?

To be honest I think I'd go for that camouflage poncho she had on it Return of The Jedi when she first met the Ewoks.
Or if it has to be an "at Jabba's Palace" one, why not her bounty hunter disguise?

Thanks all! Has to be that palace one really. I've seen cheaper ones on eBay which are in a 2XL size so I'm thinking that's a 16. My bust is 38G too. I think I'll just have to risk it and hope for the best.

I was thinking of the white robe in the iconic message scene.

Her white dress robe thing in the first film is probably the most iconic look and she's sporting the buns hairdo as well with that.

Your body, your choice of course but surely something like this would be more flattering/comfortable?

I reckon roughly 0.5% of the female population would look good in the Slave Leia costume.
