Where do your dds of this age buy swimwear from?

Dd wants a triangle shape top but not too skimpy. A more sporty look with good coverage.

Any ideas where she can look?

Does she have a favourite colour?

Still looking!

Just had a row with dd. Most have sold out in her size and there seems to be lots underwired too which are not suitable. I give up!!

And it doesn't help that she says most of them are 'ugly' Confused

Can you show us the ones that she did like? I have a napping baby so am happy to trawl the internet looking for similar!

If the baby wakes...you're on your own Grin

She quite likes the stripy H&M one you posted @absolutehush but they don't have her size. Think she needs an 8.

Have a look at the Outnet online twosoups - there are lots available in the shape you’re looking at and some bargains as the sale is on. Do a filter by size (xs is usually about an 8) then order from price low to high - lots of lovely ones.

Have a look on proswimwear.com they have a fantastic range of sporty bikinis that would be suitable for a 12 year old.

Decathlon do some nice ones in their surf section.

Joules have some nice ones in. I have one that’s a tankini & one that’s a one piece (both with the triangles) but they had bikinis too. They’re quite pricey but really nice quality so should last. The cups do have light padding but no underwires.

It's few years ago now but I used to get swimwear from Boden for my DD. Or a sports shop.

Pineapplefish · 31/07/2019 17:45

DD has a nice bikini from here:

My DD has had a couple of surf brand ones like Animal, O'Neill or Billabong that might fit the brief.
