Where can I get a leather wallet mended?

I have a really good Osprey wallet that I'm very fond of, and the popper on the coin compartment has come off. Otherwise it's fine and in good condition, and it feels really wasteful to buy a new one, not to mention that it's quite hard to get one with as many card slots as mine. Local cobbler won't do it (fair enough, not many shoes have poppers), and online searches don't turn up anything that will definitely help. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks.

I would have said cobblers. Try another one.

If you have an upholsterer near you they might be able to help, my local one fixed the strap on my bag which broke after DS decided to swing on it

Timpsons won't do it, sadly, and said they didn't know who would. No upholsterers near us so far as I can see. I'll try calling the shop in Matlock, thanks for that.

Try Classic Shoe Repairs in London. They are awesome. They do the high end repairs for Jimmy Choo, Louboutain and also do handbags and other leather stuff.

I'd get in touch with them and see if you can send them photos for an opinion. You can post stuff to them for repair.
