Please talk to me about eyebrows and eyelashes

I'm 40 years old and apart from the odd threading session I've never had my eyebrows or eyelashes 'done'. It strikes me that lots of (younger!) women do have this and it seems to really help frame the face.

So my question is what should I be looking for in this area? HD Brows?! What are they and should I be going for that? Where should I go for this?

I'm fairly pale with dark hair and eyebrows. They're not overly thick (and I'm not a fan of the super thick eyebrow look) but not super thin either. Eyelashes are dark but short and sparse (and I'm thinking probably need some sort of conditioning treatment if anyone has any recommendations).

Thanks!

I get my lashes dyed and my eyebrows shaped about every six weeks. I started in my late thirties. I was amazed at how those two small things made such a big and positive difference to my appearance. I’d recommend giving them a go.

HD brows is basically a brow wax then a load of make up. All you need for your brows is a wax (or thread if you prefer) and maybe dying? If they're not dark or need some areas of colour filling in.

I get lash extensions. I have had them permanently for about 7 years now and I would actually go without proper food before I gave them up! I do it because it gives a better effect than make up and also I almost never wear make up any more. No faffing about but my face still looks more awake than I feel!

Before I had extensions I did try tinting and perming them but it just didn't give me the desired effect

I get HD Brows and I love them. Complete strangers tell me how great my brows are. Couldn't go back.

First, brows are died. Then trimmed, waxed, threaded to soften the edges, and plucked into a specific arch. They look really polished.

If you choose, there's then make up that can go on top to make them look bolder/heavier - I just use a bit of powder as needed.
