Does anyone have any nice shorts?

I don’t own any shorts apart from one denim pair. I don’t really like shorts on me but we’re going on hols next week and I need some.
Can anyone recommend any that will suit a 5’3” 45 year old size 12 with white legs and a bit of a tummy!

I’ve been to H&M & Primark today and could find hardly any shorts at all and what they did have looked indecent on me!😄

these are fab they also come in white but for some reason aren't on the site? But if you can get them in store then do, they fit so well and aren't see-through at all. Having said that, the red and black are both lovely too I just love white in the summer!

Those River Island ones are a lovely length - the model wearing them is 6'1" so they're longer on the more average height lady!

Tesco have some fantastic broderie anglaise style, stretchy waist band with tassels. £12. I bought a second pair as they’re so good

Gap Bermuda shorts are nice!

I have a couple of pairs from Maine in Debenhams in navy and khaki for my holiday - knee length, “2 way stretch” fabric, smart button detailing, super comfy 👌

Boden have several styles that are nice, and with some of them you can choose the length

My preference is for summer dresses. I gave up looking for nice shorts long ago.

I can't find any shorts atm. I struggle every year.

I want long ones, most are just too short.

Plus, I find most of the materials too hard, like cardboard! I want them in a very soft material.
