Bare legs for work?

With this current weather I'm thinking of wearing a floaty, knee length dress to work tomorrow, but I can't stand the thought of tights.

Dress code is casual enough that I normally wear jeans. I have quite fat, pale legs which I have shaved. Can I get away with no tights, or should I just sweat away in my jeans?

I think if you are allowed to wear jeans then bare legs are fine. I have never worked anywhere I could wear jeans, but I never wear tights after about mid April.

A knee length dress? What is so offensive about your legs from knee-ankle that you can't bare them? Nobody will notice or care, except you. Stay cool!!

I haven’t worn tights since about 1992-go for it!

Thanks - just wanted confirmation. I'd just always thought bare legs at work were an absolute no.

I wore bare legs today and I'm no youthful gazelle! You should be fine if jeans are ok. I slapped a bit of gradual tan on mine to try to avoid blinding anyone with the glare but I'm not sure it made any difference.

Goodness it’s not the 1980s, bare legs are fine in most workplaces these days, even those are semi formal. Jeans would be s huge no where I work but bare legs are absolutely fine! Go for it and be cool.

I never wear tights. "Skin" colour ones are nowhere near, black ones make my skirts climb my legs. Never used to happen, no idea why it's happening now.
