Found my perfect jumpsuit for apples so thought I would pass it on...

This arrived today. I have a delightful mother's apron I have to work around and this disguises and flatters everywhere else. I am a size 14-16 and bought the 5xl and it skims without cling. It looks like a Toast offering. REALLY CHUFFED. :)

Other details-
it just pulls on- no fastenings
Is ankle length on me (5"3)
The material feels like a linen mix
you need to wear a top under

These are on eBay and Amazon for anyone on need....

The burgandy one is really nice do you have the amazon link?

namechangeninjaevervigilant · 24/07/2019 08:32

I searched wide leg v neck jumpsuit on Amazon and this little beauty came up.

The burgundy one IS a toast one, whoever is making these copies is just using Toast's photo. I adore that jumpsuit though, but although I'd love to find it cheaper, you have to question why these things are SO cheap. Someone is suffering for it somewhere down the line.

Paul, have you got a link for that arcing jumpsuit please? It's lovely!
How long did delivery take?

I hear you Rush and you raise an interesting point.

I predominantly buy either charity shop clothes (so that things continue to be put to good use) or fair trade brands like Gringo,Nomads, POZu etc. I also make a lot of my clothing/accessories by redesigning etc. I also buy shoes that are handmade in the UK and can be resoled (Conker).

However when it comes to clothing there is a lack of transparency from companies as to the sources of their clothes, the supply chain, wages etc. End result being that the person who made the clothing could be paid the same no matter what price differential there is for the buyer. Then we have the issue of materials used, transportation, long term pollution from vegan plastics....there are no perfect solutions.

Personally I can't afford Toast prices so have compromised in this instance. What I do know is that these will be worn to death and then repaired to make the best use of this choice I have made.

Most of my lifestyle choices are pretty ethical- and it is a consideration for me. I have never been on an aeroplane for example, eat veggie diet from locally sourced products where possible etc......

I think if you looked through your clothing choices you would find compromise too.

What shoes can I wear with this? Are trainers too casual?
