Olaplex - educate me please

I don't want to get anything done at the salon as I hate going and I hate paying their prices. However, I would like some sort of smoothing treatment in preparation for my holiday in a humid climate which will make my hair look like crap. My hair is fine and has a wave to it, bit it's messy and inconsistent so I have to blow dry it straight. If I don't it looks like straw.
Looking at the Olaplex reviews, I can't work out a. where to buy it to ensure it's not a fake (needs to be online), b. what exactly to buy as I gather some of their products are salon only? Can anybody enlighten me please?

Following! My past very expensive celeb hairdresser said to use number 2 as a leave in conditioner overnight. He said buy via Amazon as cheap, you'll need to just hope they are real. However recently went to a salon who told me it's for salon use only and not to use at home. Think they were trying to make a sale with me though.

The full olaplex system is salon only.
Olaplex no3 only maintains but will not do much for repairing damaged hair without the numbers 1 & 2.

Sorry was also meant to say you can buy olaplex no3 from places like beautybay!

My hair is dry and frizzy. Olaplex 3 helps. My hairdresser commented on the improvement in the condition. Olaplex 6 doesn't do much for me.

I used the proper Moroccan oil hydration spray on a hot hot hot holiday last week both a spritz into dryhair and then also a quick run through when wet. Always pinned up and added hair band. Have come back with the most lovely swishy healthy hair rather than my usual fuzzy mess! It was £35 and I’ve had the bottle ages- it looks barely used but I use it most days

I used Olaplex to colour my hair last weekend, I have a trade card as I have nail tec qualifications. I used Number 1 with my colour, number 2 after I washed it out, then number 3 shampoo & number 4 conditioner, my hair feels amazing. It was very expensive but I can really recommend the products.

I use #3 and it's really good. I've got healthier hair now than I've ever had
