Holiday checklist, does this sound ok?

Going on holiday to Spain tomorrow, for one week, it's going to be very hot and sunny.

Does this sound ok? I've packed

1 beach dress, 1 beach jumpsuit, 3 shorts, 3 t-shirts, a couple of vest tops. Pool flip flops all for the day.

2 bikinis and 2 tankinis.

6 potential dresses for the evening plus 2 skirts and a variety of tops, 3 pairs of sandals.

Running clothes incase i do do make it out for a run.

Bras, pants, socks.

Leggings, 2 cardigans, one hoody and a raincoat (just incase).

Sunhat, sunglasses, toiletries, make up etc.

My case is jam packed, I always take too much, like I only need 7 evening outfits in total, but I always panic and take too much end up trying everything on and getting stressed.

Should I take some out?

I've got other dresses that I'd like to put in, but I know I can't wear it all!

Well, I think you have too much for the evening. I'd take at least two dresses out, and maybe look at the skirts, tops. Also just take one hoody or cardigan. I personally wouldn't bother with leggings or the raincoat. If the weather is bad enough to need them for your whole holiday you can buy something in Spain.

I would also seriously look at your shoes. Do you have a pair that goes with all your evening outfits or can you narrow down your evening outfits based on what goes best with one pair of sandals? I always used to take too many shoes and never wore half of them.

You don’t need that much. I’ve just packed for my family of 4 for a 10 day Med holiday and it all fits into 2 soft sports bags (space is restricted where we are going so hard cases not recommended.)

We’ve all got:
3 swimsuits and a rash vest (we burn in the sun)
3 shorts/4 tops
Outfit for ‘best.’
Sundress for me and DD
Flip flops
Trainers
PJs
Underwear
Shared washbag
Snorkels and masks.

That’s it.

You don’t need that many evening outfits and shoes - you are unlikely to bump into anyone you know or who cares enough that you wore the same dress twice. So for a week if I wanted to get dressed up each evening I would still only take 3 outfits and one pair of sandals that goes with all of them. You don’t need the hoodie, cardies, raincoat, leggings - temps in Spain atm are max 38C, min 23C at night. Roasting! If you are a regular runner/gym bunny, take the sports kit. If you are just looking to kick start an excercise regime while you have free time, go swimming instead. You should be able to fit everything you need for a week in Spain in the summer in a carrier bag!

Thank you.

I have got one pair of sandals that goes with everything and I guess one cardigan will do.

I know I don't need all the outfits I just can't decide which ones to take.
