Large shoulders, boobs and summer tops

I cannot locate any nice summer tops ever. Am blaming shoulders and boobs (inverted triangle body shape with boobs).

Have tried most t -shirts (m and s, cos, gap). Got an All Saints one from eBay that was better but it is basically see through.

Vest tops just make me look quite matronly... thinner straps are better but then the bra issue appears.

Anyone solved this summer issue?!

I have broad shoulders and I need a wide neck line.

I have to buy nearly all summer tops or find them in charity shops, from Next. For some reason their tops fit broad shoulders and boobs.

Me too.
I normally wear v neck, deep scoop or Henley style tops. I’ve just ordered some from wrap in the sale. I tend to wear a sports bra underneath my racer back vest tops or M&S do non padded bralettes that have a clip together racerback option that are useful under vest tops.

I feel your pain OP.

Inverted triangle with large boobs here too. PIA to find decent clothes that flatter you. But you must try to embrace your lovely, unique figure! Don't fight it or hide it.

I have wide shoulders too. Since I've been working out, I've had more confidence in showing them off a bit and standing tall and proud.

I read that v necks are good - as in they go with your shape. The v neck is an inverted triangle itself so complements your shape nicely.

I was looking at some nice Tommy Hilfiger v neck t shirts. Thick enough to not be see through, decent quality to last a while. I find t shirts difficult -too baggy around my waist to accommodate my boobs. So I'm gonna give it a go.

Try halternecks as well? I got a v nice halter neck bodysuit from Primark that was lovely.

Whatever you do, avoid square cut tops.

Is there a specific style you prefer? Are you quite floral and fluttery? Are you looking for casual or formal?

I have the same and can't wear strapless tops at all. I find a wide scoop style works well for me.

Thanks all. Nice to know Im not alone! I agree on halter necks but can't face strapless bras everyday.

Im looking for work tops and casual tops. My style aim is a slightly boho rock chick (adapted for being late 30's now!). Easier in the winter and easier for 'going out' outfits. I struggle a lot with everyday summer, work or home.

I find v necks hard as some look good and some really don't, I think it depends on the width and depth of the V I have decided.

Going to look at m and s bralettes and next now!!

It's a hard shape to have. I struggle too, to the point I end up hating shopping because of it. Useless when theres barely anything that looks decent on me.

Oh, well keep trying OP! Oooh and let us know about the bralettes - I so want one but haven't ventured on one yet.
