Help me find a deodorant please!

Seeing as we’re hitting serious summer, I have to face up to the fact that I seem to be struggling to find deodorant that suits me. I seem have grown immune to everything on the standard Boots shelf. Can’t find an anti perspirant that truly keeps me dry, but I am also constantly a bit paranoid about smelling a bit pitty, if you know what I mean.
Does anybody have any suggestions to try please?!

Have you tried Mitchum roll on . Because of a health scare years ago I stopped using aerosols and this and the Fenjel ones really seem good.

Triple Dry is literally the only one that works for me.

You apply it at night, then wash off the next morning. Once you've used it a while you can go down to every 3/4 days. I've tried everything else but this seems to be the only strong enough one for me.

Mitchum stick roll 0n - I was a real sweaty betty until I found this - I don't even have sweaty pits the day after using this

Try Native - www.nativecos.com/
Very effective, eco friendly and a good range of fragrances. I use the coconut and vanilla.

TheHodgeoftheHedge · 22/07/2019 13:26

I’ve tried all the Mitchum range and they always tended to really suit me but don’t seem to work anymore.
Triple Dry really inflamed my skin last time I tried it but perhaps it’s worth trying again?

Dove Men Clean Comfort stick is the only thing that works! It's got my husband and all four brothers and a few mates using it too! It actually smells better the longer it's on. Rather than getting bitter like some can. Cheap too.

I have had good results from PitROK. But they stock it in Boots so maybe you’ve already tried it?

Otherwise if you want a serious one that properly works to limit sweat, you will probably find that Driclor will do the trick. It’s expensive and you have to be careful with it as it can irritate your skin, but it definitely works.

Sure max?

Livedandlearned · 22/07/2019 13:53

I used to love Mitchum but also found it stopped working so well. I now use Sure Max, it lasts me a good few weeks, and I apply it after a shower before bed and also in the morning.

babysharkah · 22/07/2019 13:55

Driclor.

HeyMicky · 22/07/2019 13:57

Driclor or perspirex. Stings a bit but worth it. Use it the night before, wash it off the next morning. Shave AFTER!

ViserionTheDragon · 22/07/2019 14:00

I second Naitive, best deodorant ever and it's aluminium free!

TheHodgeoftheHedge · 22/07/2019 15:10

Wow. Those native reviews are incredible!

I’ve just bought one of the native deodorants. If you anyone wants a free travel sized one when they place an order, let me know, I have a code.
Free international shipping is very impressive!

Definitely Sure for Men. I've never looked back.

OrangeJustice · 22/07/2019 16:40

After years of trying different brands I’ve recently discovered that a stick deodorant with a good squirt of aerosol deodorant over the top works wonders. I’ve also recently tried the Vaseline intensive care cream one which smells lovely and also works with spray over the top.

Might try the Native one now though. Damn you.

I use Faith in Nature mineral stick for the sweaty smell, and The Loving Nature paste for scent. I find I sweat less when using natural products and my body regulates it a lot more.

When I used standard antiperspirants I sweated more and more as I think my skin was trying to break through it!

Discovered by accident last week that the Lynx Africa dry roll-on I'd brought on hol for teen DS works way better than anything I've ever tried in past 10 years! Whod'v thought it. Was the first time pits stayed dry and smelling fresh all bloody day despite how hot n sweaty i got. An absolute first for me. They should re-brand this stuff for menopause mums. I'd tried all the usual ones recommended on here but still got whiffy and damp after an hour or so.
