Long summer dress bought, what shoes?

Hello all!

So I usually wear fit flops with everything but looking for a more streamline look with my new dress. I would be wearing said dress with a denim jacket so would you go for trainers, if so which ones...I hate the bulky trainer look

It would be good to see photo of the dress!

I love espadrilles with long summer dresses (but a lot of people on S&B frown upon them), but it only looks good with certain styles.

Oh oops only read half the OP...
Superga. Maybe Stan smiths? If that’s too bulky I would look for canvas styles.

MrsMaryMooFace · 20/07/2019 23:05

White converse, stan Smith's or superga's

Supersimpkin · 20/07/2019 23:29

Converse are quite a lot sleeker than most, funnily enough. Stan Smiths have had their day round these parts (Sarf London), it's all slightly platform-y simple white gym shoes.

No one, but no one round here, has fallen for the ugly dad trainer look.

I'm definitely looking for a sleeker style as I'm a size 16 and don't want to add to my bulk, though tall. What's the most streamline superga out there, or white converse?

Flat sandals? I have some jigsaw ones that I'm intending to wear with dresses if the flipping weather would ever pick up!!!

Can you post a pic of the dress?
