I have bought this dress www.boden.co.uk/en-gb/jessica-ponte-dress-broad-bean/sty-j0503-ivy?cat=C1_S2_G4 for a family event but I need shoes. Due to a dodgy knee, I can't wear anything with a heel more than about half an inch but would love something elegant and lovely.

Budget is up to £100.

If you can help, I will be embarrassingly grateful!

I would check Dune. They have a huge range of shoes and a sale on at the moment.

I’d probably go for a pointy loafer, mule, or slingback. Something in a lovely coordinating colour, with a bit of interest from great detailing. Oh actually Russell &Bromley have a great sale on, let me have a look for you!

I bet you could pick up some barely worn 0.5in Jimmy Choo pointed kitten heels on eBay for well under £100 if you have the time and patience!

These are navy and terribly pretty and have a very short block heel. 28 quid in the sale! But you'd better move fast as their sale stuff sells out quick.

Meh not much that’s actually flat on there...

This is the best of the lot in my opinion, but probably a bit of a marmite shoe:

They’ve also got this one:

I’ll have a quick look at Dune for you.

I came on to say kitten heel too Smile

Again Dune is pretty meh (although I only looked at neutral colours)

Did you look at Boden for shoes? They do some quite nice ones.

Next places I’d look would be Kurt Geiger, and then Marks and Sparks (who actually do some rather good shoes).

The Wallis navy ones linked above are fabulous

Thank you - some fantastic ideas of places I wouldn't have thought to look. Much appreciated - thank you all!
