Where are all the decent clothes?!

I've been into the city today to look for a nice top or dress for going out - something a bit special and well made. And all I can find is casual stuff or piles of cheaply made polyester! Where are all the decent clothes or what shops would sell quality non-casual wear?? Budget up to £100 for a good dress.

If you find out let me know, it's a funny time of year, we've barely had any really warm weather but the shops are selling off summer clothing to make way for winter, I have seen coats already.

I don't know how old you are, what style you like but can only suggest somewhere like Phase 8 maybe.

I'm after a slip dress, but the one I want is £££££
I may have to just bits the bullet, if I don't want polyester that sticks to me.
