I've heard tell of period swimsuits. Anyone know?

They're for my DD who is a swimmer - early morning training etc and can't really miss a week per month from training. She has just had her second period and doesn't have the hang of tampons yet. Her friend mentioned period swimwear. A quick google brought up stateside stuff which I'd rather not, with returns and sizing etc.

Does anyone know if there is a UK/Euroland company selling these?

This is an old thread but I thought I’d update for the sake of completion and in case anyone was interested.

We went with the modibodi bikini bottoms under her regular swimsuit. They took ages to arrive - they were out of stock - but we eventually got them. And so far so good! She hasn’t had any heavy days really but is quite comfortable and confident in them so that’s half the battle. She is a little aware the outline of them is visible under her swimsuit but isn’t that bothered about that.

So it’s a thumbs up. And thank you to @Skyejuly @OhNoooNotAgain for the idea.
