Beauty Pie

I'm debating signing up for a Beauty Pie membership as I've heard good things about the products. But I can't decide whether it's worth it or not? I don't know whether I'd get an awful lot with the monthly allowance as it's mainly the skincare products that interest me. With the basic membership I'd only get a £50 monthly allowance which doesn't appear to stretch very far. Any good/bad reviews?

Yep it doesn’t stretch that far on the skincare. I started at £20 a month for a few months then once I had stocked up dropped it to £5 a month (bit of a faff - much easier to upgrade surprise, surprise). Now I just order every few months. This saves on postage.
So my last order was shopping total of £224 I think ( four and a bit months subscription at £5 a month).
For that I got a moisturiser( basic one - not the all singing and dancing ones) , two different cleansers, vitamin c capsules, shampoo, conditioner and two makeup products ( eyebrow pencil and a highlighter). The total not including the subscription fees came to under £50. The. There was £4 postage.
Apart from the hair stuff which is new and one of the cleansers they are all repeat buys.
So I do like the stuff. There has been the odd miss. The juju stuff if full of perfume. But then there is with any brand. So overall I like and plan to remain a customer. There are stock issues, but I can live with that. Forced to to wait and order less regularly.
The real cost of an individual product to you is the members price added to the “rrp” price with a decimal place moved to the left.

The shampoo and conditioner are brilliant! I just bought them and shall repeat buy. I do like Bodicea and order every few months.

I do a similar thing to the above poster but with the £10 a month subscription. I save up a few months spends then get a few skincare bits, you don't need new stuff every month so it works well imo I'm definitely saving money as I'm no longer spending £40+ a product. I've been impressed with everything I've bought so far, and have repeat bought several products.

Same! I have the £10 a month subscription and order every couple of months. I really like the super retinol serum

I've loved every single product I've tried so far from beauty pie. I'm on the £10 a month plan and still manage to get a decent amount of each time. I've spent no more than £30 total and that's been for 4/5 products each order.

The make up is significantly cheaper than the skincare so I tend to buy one skincare product and some make up each month.

Recommendations from me would be the Japan fusion cleanser which has replaced my body shop camomile balm (which I loved and thought was unbeatable), the eyebrow pencil with brush, nail varnishes are fab, triple beauty liquid luminizer (highlighter) is subtle and goes a very long way, one powder wonder and the wonder colour cream shadow sticks are super long lasting.

Skincare wise I've loved the plantastic micro peeling super drops which has really cleared my skin up. I've just received the super active vitamin c capsules which I'm looking forward to trying.

If you can't tell, I'm a big fan Grin

I'm a huge fan. I have a £15 membership but don't buy every month. I tend to save my allowance and then buy what I need in one go. I save on postage and packaging costs that way. I think it's fantastic. I use the super retinol products, also alternate with their serums and/or the capsules (vit c ones and the hyluronic acid).
My best products are the retinol ones (I buy the set with the day and night serums, the hand cream and the eye cream), the 5 minute fruit enzyme scrub/mask, and the overnight retinol balm. I basically repeat buy the same things and occasionally splurge on some of the makeup. I have completely stopped buying skincare products from anywhere else.

Thank you for your replies, I've gone for it! I've picked the £10 monthly membership, they currently have an offer on for the first month free and an extra £50 allowance on the first order so I've bought quite a few products that I can't wait to try. Thanks for the tip to save up the allowance and just do a few bigger orders over the year, I think this is what I'll do to maximise what I can get!
