Can we talk kimonos?

Hi all
Just wondering what your thoughts are on kimonos? Are they a yay or a nay? Not sure whether they are wafty wondergarments or nightwear-esque no nos? I’m undecided... I sometimes see them on people and think wow. Other times I think no.
They seem just right to be a lightweight cover up for those of us who are body conscious but not sure if they are stylish?
Thoughts please, style and beauty, wise ones...Smile

I like them for on the beach/by the pool, I've only seen a very few handful of people able to carry them off around town.

They are fabulously comfy though and I love them purely for that

I have a few that I wear with a plain vest top, jeans and simple jewellery. I don't like my top half much so it's an easy way to cover up but still stay cool.

I have a couple of vintage Japanese ones, which I use as jackets.

My lighter, floaty ones are more of a cover up.

I have two - a shorter floral one that I wear over a cami top with jeans and a longer black one that has beautiful stitching detail and lace. The black one is perfect for evening wear.

I love the classic dressing gown style ones and would love one for wearing round the house.
