Hi, can you help me pick from these 5 dresses?!

Wedding is my DPs very good friend. The venue is very posh (think £300 a room rate for the night posh) and is a place people really push the boat out to get married in.

For the first time in my life I have extra money and I cannot find a bloody dress!!! I struggle with sizing due to a very weird body shape. The pictures range from a size 8- size 12. I'm more than happy to have other recommendations but if they could be from an actual shop I could physically go to and try on that would be fantastic.

Could you tell me your favourite or recommend anything else?! Thanks so much!

Ps the black shaded areas are my handbag, it's quite unusual and could be outing for anyone that knows me! Lol

Number 2 is out the window, believe it or not that was the size 8 which still didn't fit right at my chest, I was going to hide a safety pin in it. Weird sizing we have!

1 is very comfortable and I like it loads the only thing putting me off slightly was that it's black with all the patterns, I wear black a lot and I went straight to it so it's a bit safe for me.

1. I've never worn anything like that before it just caught my eye.

4 and 5. Against every different colours and styles for me, it was the colours and it being a summer wedding that made them catch my eye.

It's so hard! I also know some of the people I'll be sitting at a table with, although not very well and I know they'll be very well dressed and they're quite classy too. Everything I aspire to be 😂🙈

OP, if you feel comfortable in No.1 go for it. It is just a black background, but is very colourful, and looks great on you.

As I said earlier, you can accessorise that dress with abandon. Buy yellow shoes and a pink bag, or vice versa, you will wow them!

But the choice is yours.

Number 1. I think it's the most flattering and looks the most expensive/ appropriate for the posh occasion.

If you wear a lot of black, it's for a reason. You can brighten it up if you need to with accessories. But generally it'll be because it suits you and you feel most comfortable in it.

Go for 4, have fun

Is 4 the blue one? It looks like a dressing gown to me so don't understand the "good fit" comments. Unless no 4 is a different dress?

I’d say number 5 over number 4. Because the v neck is more flattering and tha’s what will be seen most while you sit for the meal.
