Best magnifying mirror

I'm on holiday just now and I have an illuminated magnifying mirror in the bathroom. While it's bloody awful to see all my imperfections so close up, it's also great for applying make up so I need one! Anyone got one they would recommend? Not sure of a plug in one or battery powered is best.

The Simple Human one is awesome, expensive, but worth it. It's rechargeable.

I've got a No7 that's normal on 1 side and x5 on the other. It lights up and its plug in.

Thanks. Both look good. The first one looks great but it's so expensive!

I had a No7 one for years and loved it. When it finally gave up the ghost earlier this year I was ready to replace with another No7, but the current model had quite poor reviews. I spent ages debating whether I could justify the cost of the Simple Human one - it's so bloody expensive. I have to say though that it's the best thing ever! Vastly superior to the No7 one - the look and quality, the fact it's cordless, the auto on/off. I bloody love it!! So much so that I'm seriously debating getting the travel or compact one for holidays too!

Really @Primotomb? Gah. The reviews are great on Amazon. I've got the 20cm old style one in my basket on Amazon and it's £139. I might treat myself after payday.

Yes, totally the simple human one. It is expensive but it is really solid and good quality. I’ve had mine a couple of years now. It lasts for ages between charges too.

I like the No7 one but it's far too expensive for me.

Are there any good magnifying mirrors around in the £25 price range please??

Wellhellothere101 · 18/07/2019 17:06

@tierraJ I've seen the no 7 one in rose gold reduced to half price fairly often so might be worth keeping an eye out for that.

It's the rose gold one i actually have. I haven't any complaints with it. It has an on and off switch if you want to have it plugged in all the time. tierraJ No7 also do a handheld one thats much cheaper but its 12x magnifying. Pretty horrifying seeing your skin that magnified!!
