Plasters for baby toe in pointy shoes!

Got some shoes for a wedding, love them but the right shoe pinches my baby toe. Any idea for type of plaster or will just your average Elastoplast do? Will a compeed one do the job or are they just for existing blisters? Will they prevent blisters from appearing?

You can get blister plasters. I think the brand is compeed although you can often find pharmacy rip-off versions. Unlike regular plasters they won’t come unstuck if your feet get a bit hot. That said, if these shoes pinch your toe then they clearly don’t fit properly so I’d personally return them.

And yes I’ve used them for preventive measures before and they still work. Not in a while as my cheap shoe clubbing days are long gone but they always used to work wonderfully!

I use micropore tape for blister prevention.

Its much thinner and stays in place for days on end.
