I've had my look for years and feel the clothes are a bit out of date in the Kookai and Lipsy era lol. I don't know if my look is too much or not, or just a insecure moment.

So little details. I work in finance and I'm 40 So any tips from the mature fellow office peeps. Nothing too young as don't want to look like mutton dressed as lamb lol (No cropped things or mini skirts)

Bumping for you

Well, firstly you look fantastic at 40! Such good skin.

But you're dressing like it's the 00s.
Get rid of the uggs and wear velvet loafers, mid-heels or even knee/ankle leather boots. Never pair anything under dresses/skirts except tights.

Maybe try a darker hair colour and don't put your eyeshadow up so high.thicker eyebrows are key as is some bronzer.

Looser, baggier dresses are in as are flare crop jeans and slouchier tops. Try Rixo , Cos, Zara, &Otherstories and Arket. The Telegraph fashion pages are pretty good for up-to-date 30s/40s styles.

You look amazing, but yeah, a little outdated.
