Which colour Mia Tui bag

I'm after a bag for holiday. Like the look of these and that they are practical and vegan and not £££. But I'm going around in circles trying to decide what colour to get. Want something specifically for summer holidays, but year round a tend to wear navy and white / blue and white with rose, coral or yellow accents. Summer shoes tend to be soft blue or tan leather.

Teal is in my basket at the moment, but wonder if metallic gray or airforce blue would be better. OR something else altogether? Was originally after something yellow but haven't seen anything big enough.

Teal really needs to go with what you generally wear otherwise it will throw things off.

Match it according to what you are likely to be able to wear with the widest range of your summer outfits.

Oh ok. Having seen the teak it’s not a true teal so you might be able to get away with it. It’s really hard to know without knowing what colours are in your daily wardrobe.

I’ve got the Air Force blue Mini Jen one for a holiday and it’s really lovely. I also considered teal but ended up deciding on the blue one, it’s a nice soft blue. Bag is well made too and I’m really pleased with it.

Sorry I know you did mention lots of colours there, just trying to actually visualise it. I don’t like to look as if I’ve purposely specifically matched my bag to shoes/outfit so for that reason I think blue would be out (because of footwear). Let me have another look at the available colours.

Ninkaninus · 14/07/2019 21:01

Hmmm, if I were you I’d be looking for a soft yellow too. Which doesn’t help, I know.

trotesio · 14/07/2019 21:33

The teal is lovely. It's a nice bag.

Is the bag named after the bloggers daughter who died of SIDS?

MaryPopped · 14/07/2019 22:32

Thanks for the replies. S&B moves so quickly I couldn't find my own post!

Shoes are closer in colour to the airforce blue.

I also don't normally like a matchy-matchy look but really, im usually such a thrown-everything together mess I'm not too concerned with that. If anything, I feel like I should aim for matchy matchy and then what I end up with lands on the right side of quirky.

Still looking for a yellow bag, but this one is really the right everything else. I believe it is named for someone, I saw an article about money from each sale going to charity.

Now leaning towards the airforce blue over teal as more of a summery colour...

Yes in that case I think blue is the safer bet and will go with your wardrobe a bit better.

checkmaid · 15/07/2019 00:31

I'd definitely go with the blue. I think there are a few offers on at the moment so check them out before you buy

Satsuma1234 · 15/07/2019 06:22

Just saying I bought the big travel bag in navy and the Isabelle in the red colour for holiday. Really pleased with both bags.

Weatherwax · 15/07/2019 06:26

I bought the mustard yellow one, blue lining, which doesn't match with anything I own, but goes with everything bizarrely, and I have had so many compliments on it!

Powerplant · 15/07/2019 06:26

I have a few of their bags in rose gold, navy and metallic grey. They are well made and are nice and soft although they are not leather😊

TipseyTorvey · 15/07/2019 08:21

I really like these bags. Bought the jen in blue last year but as pp said it only worked with blue or grey or white outfits so this year I've bought the metallic grey instead and got the mini jen as the jen is a bit big on my short frame. The DC can carry a few of their own things now so I'm not having to lug quite as much about. Got the bundle so also have a rucksack foldable thing. And whilst I'm banging on sounding like an ad for them I also got the picnic blanket thing and used it last weekend and it's great. Might get another!

PancakeAndKeith · 15/07/2019 08:23

I love their bags. I love that they are not leather especially.

I have the teal and two in the mustard, which many people have commented on. I also have one in a dusty blue but that is very old and I don’t think they do it anymore.
My friend has the silver which looks better in real life than it does on the website.

It’s worth googling for a bundle deal. You should be able to get a free fold up shopping bag. They are brilliant.

Fifthtimelucky · 15/07/2019 08:33

I have Mia Tui bags in teal, airforce blue, and navy (all different styles). I think they're great. All bought in bundles, so I also have 3 Lottie bags in various colours.

The teal is lovely and I have it in a backpack and use it most, and with more casual outfits. The other two are more neutral, so more flexible.

Verite1 · 15/07/2019 13:46

I think teal would be harder to match. I think the airforce blue or the navy (which looks a very slight navy to me).

Verite1 · 15/07/2019 13:47

Light not slight.

checkmaid · 15/07/2019 14:45

I have navy (which is great) and cornflower blue (which goes with less, but it's a travel bag so doesn't matter too much).

I love the backpacks too

surlycurly · 15/07/2019 15:01

I love the coral and the rose gold! Lovely bags generally

iMatter · 15/07/2019 21:39

I have the red.

I love it Smile
