I am really hoping that somebody can help me.

I am fed up of looking like a hobo thats gone to seed. My hair is ok, currently growing it out from a short style to an asymentrical bob. My natural colour is trawberry blonde and it has lovely natural high/lowlights so thats great. But my eyebrows are totally almost invisible, as are my lashes. I was thinking that this would be a great way for to look a bit more "put together" so i am hoping to get my brows shaped and then my brows and lashes dyed a light brown to frame my face. I would also love to add a little fullness to my lashes and googled "eye lash extensions" and its left me totally and utterly baffled.....mink, sable, russian, synthetic, single lashes, group lashes, magnetic lashes, LVL lashes.......what the hell have I even started?!

I want something relatively low maintenance sop the whole lot can be done every 3 ish weeks in one sitting. Is this even a possibility?

Maybe try lvl lashes first, every 5/6 weeks but if you want extensions, I prefer cashmere but it is preferenceSmile

There’s nothing low maintenance about eyelash extensions. I had them for a year, and while they were incredible (looked amazing and barely had to wear any other make-up), the upkeep is crazy. I had to have refills every 2-3 weeks for 2hrs at a time to keep them looking good. I also had to change the way I slept so I didn’t smush them, and pretty much had to stop swimming. Worth it for a short holiday only for me these days, simply don’t have the time.

They do require some maintenance but not 2 hours every 2-3 weeks (for me personally). About 1 hour every 4-5 weeks and most definitely worth the time and money. I have so many compliments from so many people. I have actually inspired the youngsters in my office to have them, I’m in mid 50s and never thought under 30s would be taking inspiration from me.

And do get your eyebrows shaped and tinted too. You can then use a pencil or eyebrow mascara to touch up colour when it is fading. I use benefit Gimme Brow. The effect of my lashes and eyebrows really has given me a new lease of life and put a spring in my step.

Thanks for the advice, I am just initially thinking I will try them over the 6 weeks holidays as I have loads of trips, weddings, parties etc so think I may try the LVL to give mine lift, they arent short, just invisible.

Can you get your lashes dyed with the LVL?
