Mint Velvet

Hi, what do people think of Mint Velvet clothing? I like the look but when I go to the concessions in store never find much I like...also is sizing generous if ordering online? Thanks

I like it, but would rarely pay full price for it , I am stingy though. I would either get it in the sales or I have picked up a few bargains on Ebay, lots of MV listed.

I've found sizing is true to size, not small sizing (looking at you H&M) but not particularly generous.

Quality seems fair, although check the care label. I seem to have bought quite a few things that are hand wash only or dry clean only without realising.

I really like it. It fits well and has some interesting but wearable pieces. I have a sleeveless draped top I’ve had for years from there.

I like it and have quite a lot of tops from there in nice shapes but I read a comment on here once which wasn't very complimentary about the wearers! Did not put me off though.
Sizing is normal, can be generous as they can be drapey.

Some good buys in there sale but wouldn’t like to pay full prices...

I have 2 jackets from there. I went clothes shopping today and liked a t-shirt there but couldn’t justify the cost - £45 for a t-shirt .

Normal prices are steep , I got a vest top today in the sale but wouldn’t pay full price

It used to be one of my go to shops as we have a good branch near us. However, I find it is full of loads of polyester for increasingly high prices.

That said, I have bought my winter coat and a rather lovely red fake fur lined biker jacket in the sale.

I like the look of some of their stuff but in reality I find it hangs really badly on me. Whatever it is they do it is never a nice fit for me. I'm between a 10 and a 12 though and find 12 is too big and 10 just a bit too tight so I've given up on them.
