Olaplex and Retinol

Two questions 😊

Left Olaplex 3 on for two days. Will I be bald by mid week? Used it Thursday and next thing I know, I’m off to work with my hair in a messy ponytail. Realised yesterday evening, so washed straight away 😐

Want to use The Ordinary Retinol. Wondering which. Have read that the ones in squalene are better than the pure Retinol. Want to go for the 5% as I have quite etched forehead lines. Anyone used it without ā€œworking upā€ to the full on 5%?

TIA

Don't go straight for the high dose of retinol. The vast majority of people experience sore redness and very dry skin when they first start with retinol.

Your hair should be looking amazing though Grin

Thanks. Hair’s no different to be fair. Thought it might dry it out or start breaking off. It’s seems ok.

I think I’ll start low and work up. I’m 57 and suddenly have new lines. Also, have new glasses so, the lines might not be that new 😊

Higher dose doesn’t necessarily mean better results with retinol. Slow but steady by far the best approach
