This year, she’s wayyyyy out of my financial league which isn’t an issue generally.
I’d like to buy a decent small gadget type gift around £25/30

Alessi is a name in design, not so much fashion, they do a lot of homewares, but a name and I would image your friend would be happy you'd thought of a considerate gift!
