45 year old bridesmaid

Hi Folks, my little sister has asked me to be her bridesmaid at Christmas . Im 45, tired, and still carrying a stone of baby weight ... although he has just turned 6😬.
Any ideas of where to shop ? It will be morning suits so quite a formal do I think. I suggested to her I would trundle along to Coast and buy something there but by the shocked expression on her face I don't think this will do ! Its been years since I “shopped” for clothes so any help would be much appreciated .

they sell via john lewis too. The could choose styles to suit their figures but in the same material and colour. They looked stunning. Older sisters were both size 16-18 with baby wobbles and they just looked amazing - the materials hang beautifully.

My sister was 41 when she was my matron of honour. She wore full length cowl neck dress in a kind of wine colour. She looked absolutely gorgeous. It was quite a plain dress, she's not one for frills and neither am I so it was perfect. I would probably stay away from pastel colours.

What's your/her budget?
Ideally I'd get myself to a Selfridge's or Harvey Nichols and try on loads of lovely things.
