Nice tops!

Boring I know but hoping Mumsnet can help. I'm returning to work after mat leave soon and already pregnant with my second (yep, my boss is loving me 😂).

I'm not huge and never got so with Ds so don't have many maternity clothes and hoping not to this time. I've got trousers, but I need tops. It's smart casual, no real dress code. I tend to wear the slim fitting peg style trousers with fitted tucked in tops/shirts. I'm struggling with nice tops that aren't too fitted or too low cut though, breastfeeding/pregnancy boobies and I don't fancy giving everyone a eyeful at work.

I just want loose but smart looking tops, not too just t-shirt looking. Not sleeveless but any other sleeve length. Not too expensive as I won't be wearing them for long.

As anyone seen anything or can point me in some shops to check out. I usually shop, topshop, oasis, warehouse for work, but I'm struggling with finding anything in there.

would some bubble hem tops like these work? x

GirlOnIt · 13/07/2019 10:57

I'm thinking this style? But don't particularly like this ones material, think I'd prefer patterned but can't find patterns I like.

I'm aware I'm probably being a bit fussy too. But want to go back looking nice and like I've got my shit together, even though I most definitely don't right now!

This is the kind of thing I'd usually wear, obviously it's more autumn/winter though. And I need some shorter sleeves for summer.

I think I need something loose around the hem @sleepismysuperpower1. Otherwise I don't think I'd get much wear from them. I imagine it getting tight under my bump pretty quick.

Have a look at tunic tops from somewhere like apricot or izabel as they tend to be longer length.
