Anyone got any suggestions? Needs front pockets/side etc. Should have a laptop compartment. Must be strong enough to sling around an airport/hotels etc.

His current one is very scruffy. He definitely needs an update! Thanks.

Most people I know, me included, use the Wenger ones.

They're tough, survive being thrown around, shoved in car boots, luggage compartments, etc. etc. etc., and has pockets in all the right places. They're also comfortable to cart around with laptop, papers, water bottle, coffee mug, and the general excess amount of Stuff! that I tend to cart about.

Fossil. I've got a beautiful leather backpack, it's from the men's Range. Apparently women don't need to carry a load of shite to work.

Any of these any good?

Thanks all. I like the samsonite ones. Don’t really want leather as they are quite heavy. Looking at the Wenger ones. I really want it to look smart, not sure if they look a bit millet/outdoors? Might just have been the ones I saw at first glance though!

Go for the all black ones as they look smart.

I've seen people at all levels use them. Corporate environments.
