I think I'm stuck in a rut. Please give me ideas for bags, jewellery, sandals for this dress?

Ohhhh that’s very pretty!

I’d either go trendy (something like a top handle rattan or basket box bag), Classic (something like a small crossbody - see Kate at the polo in similar dress with small red Mulberry Darley), or relaxed (something like a crossbody saddlebag or a small bucket bag, in tan because I like that with summer dresses).

In the summer I like gold jewellery, just a simple pair of drop earrings (I do like them bigger and more dramatic in the summer), and either a necklace or a bracelet. Or for that dress I’d probably bite the bullet and actually buy the daisy earrings I’ve been wanting forever, from Georg Jensen.

Shoes, I’d wear either strappy sandals or white trainers or espadrille wedges. Or if I was dressing it up, a pair of courts, maybe peep toes.

A yellow or white bag would look great too!

Of, lovely thanks for some brilliant ideas. I love the red Mulberry bag but it's one I'd have to save for. Red would be amazing actually and right out of my comfort zone which is what I wanted!

Also love the trainers idea. I'm 59 though, maybe I'm too old.

I'm also just getting back into gold jewellery a little and got a little gold chain with a knot on it, so I think I'm on the right lines.

I did buy a Fossil bag to go with my new brown leather sandals - before that I was all blacks and greys.

Do you have a link to the daisy jewellery?

Here's the Darley satchel if anyone is interested - it's gorgeous. And in the sale...

Daisy earrings from Sheila Fleet.

Daisy earrings:

The Darley is expensive. Maybe this one instead? It’s s bit bigger but then that would make it a bit more versatile for day-to-day use:

You’re definitely not too old to wear trainers! I’d probably go for white Superga.

I love the shape of that dress, it’s a bit pretty for me so I would pair it with some chunky sandals.

The comfort range from Ancient Greek Sandals has lots of great options.

Jewellery wise for the day I wouldn’t change from what I normally wear.

Bag wise would depend on what I was doing, day wise I would opt for a rucksack. If I was going out I would wear a smarter bag www.russellandbromley.co.uk/lariat/706090
(Russell & Bromley has a good Mulberry copy) & some strappy tie up sandals

That Gigi bag is lovely thanks, and a fraction of the price. And white Superbad it is. I feel the years dropping off me :)

Thanks for the Ancient Greek sandals tip too. The comfort range looks like a good alternative to fitflops.

I quite like these

Or these, but matchy red probably not a good idea?

Ooo, and Smythe mini is indeed a good copy. Too much lovely choice!
