Hi, can anyone recommend anything for very stubborn blackheads?? Dd aged 9 has 2 very large ones on her nose so would prefer to avoid anything chemical if possible, although I have many so could do with some reccomendations for me too!! Do those vacuum things work??

Thanks

How much have you tried already? I mean have you kind of steamed and then squeezed? I’d have thought that’s the best way. Just try not to dig your nails in, protect with a tissue.

Are you sure they are black heads and not sebaceous filaments?

Yeah I've tried to squeeze after steaming but her little face is so springy I can't get a good grip!! Yeah orettybsure they are blackheads.

We have a marvellous set of tools from Amazon, got rid of a few huge blackheads on DS's nose and face, extremely satisfying! There are different shapes but essentially you press down on the blackhead without having to dig in with fingernails. I'll see if I can find a link.

I’ve got one of these from the Body Shop which does the trick, although in a pinch a Kirby grip or the loop end of a small safety pin would also work

Brill thanks I'll take a look at those
