Spray tan and sensitive surgical scars

I would like a spray tan for an event in a couple of weeks but I had a breast reduction earlier this year and my scars are still very sensitive and itchy. I really don’t want anything but my prescribed scar serums anywhere near them! Is there a way of avoiding my boob area? Have been trying to think how that would work, but can’t think of a way that would be practical.

Can you just pop a tape type dressing over the scars and remove after the tan?

You could wear a bikini top? Or an old strapless bra to avoid tan-lines

Yes agree you need to cover them or it will go on them.
Could you cover them with Vaseline? Still might be a chance it gets on them though maybe dressings are best.
