help needed for big job interview

Can anyone help me with job interview clothes? It's for next week, in an ad agency, as part of the creative team.

I've worked from home for years and I'm overweight, carrying most of the weight on hips and thighs. My boobs and waist are best features, so I look slimmest in things that fit fairly well around the upper torso then skim. I absolutely can't show my knees. They are gross.

Happy to consider anything - trousers and top or midi dress. Needs to be smart arty. Budget not massive but definitely want to buy something up to date and new.

Also need good summery shoes as all I have are sandals, trainers and lots and lots of pairs of boots.

Really grateful for any advice.

Arket are worth a look - I got a great suit for an agency interview. I always feel better in a cool trouser suit with loafers and a simple white shirt from M&S. Good luck!

That Karen Millen dress is fabulous. I'll definitely take a look at it. It would have been perfect when I wasn't overweight but might not work now with my bulges.

Never heard of Arket. Thanks for the tip. Off to Google them now.

What do people think of this one? I don't normally like animal print but love the shape and monochrome.

Yes sure!
There are so many midi dresses in the shops at the mo you'll be spoilt for choice!
Good luck with the interview!

Love the mint velvet dress, would definitely wear it for the interview. Good luck.

Oh good. I'm glad people like the Mint Velvet. Think I'll go with that. It feels right.

Can anyone help with shoes/sandals? I like a bit of a heel. Flats don't suit me.

Those would be perfect @palahvah if they had a bit more padding. I need a bit of spring in the sole of a shoe or I walk really heavily. I'm quite ungainly even when I'm not overweight and need to work hard to disguise it. Grin
